The Government Accountability Office is accepting comments until Aug. 15 on its exposure draft of proposed revisions to the 2003 revision of Government Auditing Standards (the Yellow Book). The proposed revisions deal with an auditor's ethical responsibilities; field work standards for financial audits; general, field work and reporting standards for attestation engagements; and reporting standards for financial audits, among other topics.
