Increased military deployments in recent years have brought a corresponding increased need for information on how this can affect family law matters. The Missouri Bar is grateful to the volunteer author, Douglas C. Fredrick.

Mr. Fredrick received both his Bachelors in Business Administration and Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While in Kansas City, he had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Sherrill Rosen. He later graduated from the United States Army JAG (Judge Advocate General) School in Charlottesville, Virginia, served in the Army Reserves as a JAG officer for seven years, and in 2012 transferred branches to the United States Air Force Reserves, where he currently serves as a JAG officer...
