FROM THE STUDENT MANAGING EDITOR
I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce our new student editorial staff. As Professor
Schepard mentioned, this issue marks the beginning of Volume 52 of Family Court Review (FCR).
Each new volume provides an opportunity for law students at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law
at Hofstra University to compete for a position as a FCR junior staff editor. This year we have selected
eighteen new students to join our editorial team. Each of them has already committed their time and
talents to the production of this issue with great enthusiasm.
I also owe a debt of gratitude to last year’s junior staff editors, who have now been promoted to
senior editorial positions for Volume 52. The energy and dedication of these students make the
production of FCR both successful and enjoyable. I am honored to work with each of them.
On behalf of our editorial staff, I would like to sincerely thank the AFCC for the opportunity to
produce FCR. We are proud to present Volume 52, Number 1 and look forward to those issues yet to
come.
