As Editor of the Southern Economic Journal, Jonathan Hamilton has overseen a dramatic increase in its quality. He is now in his second term, which ends June 30, 2003, at which time he wishes to step down as Editor and turn over his editorial duties to a successor.

Therefore, the Board of Trustees of the Southern Economic Association (SEA) invites nominations and applications for the position of Editor of the Southern Economic Journal for a term to begin July 1, 2003. Proposals should be sent to the SEA office by February 1, 2002, and the Board anticipates choosing a new Editor after the Spring Board Meeting in April 2002.
