James T. Whiting is a solo practice attorney, a Senior Assistant Public Defender and a CJA Panel Member from Lander, Wyoming.

After two years of theory, I was so excited to begin actually doing something related to practicing law It was the summer, I was a 3L and I was working as a student intern in the legal services clinic at the University of Wyoming College of Law. Calls came in from all over and I was tasked with answering and screening the calls as part of our intake process.
