Helpers One to Another

Everyone has a backstory.

A story that chronicles our journey of how we ended up where we are today and what it took to get there. Each journey is unique and every journey matters. There are those whose path was clear, with few to no obstacles to overcome. Others had a path fraught with setbacks and detours and it seemed and felt improbable that they would accomplish their goal. For many of us, we have accomplished what we set out to do, to become a part of this noble legal profession. Today, we are reaping the fruits of our labor.

Now that we have achieved this goal, what next? What can we do to make a difference in our lives and others? How do we make the world better than we found it? Take a moment to reflect on your journey and what it took to get you to where you are today and let that motivate you. Remember the sacrifices you made. It was the countless hours spent studying to graduate from law school, or it was holding down multiple jobs while in school, or it was time away from your family so the goal of attaining a law degree could be accomplished. Regardless of what it took, you made it, and that sacrifice should not be squandered. My challenge to you is to "do more and be more."
