Welcome to the Winter 2006 issue of Management Quarterly. Over the past year we have introduced a few changes to this publication--from its look to our range of contributing authors. I wish to thank all of you who participated in our recent e-mail reader survey. Your responses provided some welcome insight into your interests and yielded some valued recommendations.

Per one reader's suggestion, we are printing the mission statement for Management Quarterly on the inside front cover in every issue. With this as our editorial compass, MQ will continue to strive to be timely, stimulating, informative and solution-oriented for directors, managers and staff.
