From the Editor

The journal’s dependence on a broad community of colleagues in political

theory and related fields is never so clear as it is in December. In this issue, I

have the chance to name and to thank the women and men who served as

anonymous reviewers between September 1, 2018, and August 31, 2019.

Their commitment is exemplary. I am impressed anew with each thoughtful,

generous, incisive evaluation we receive and grateful for the care with which

many of these colleagues have commented on multiple drafts of a single
