Ladd C. Sanger

Basic Bio:

Ladd Sanger is from Saratoga, Wyoming, and now lives in Texas. He has over 25 years of experience advising and representing clients in aviation legal matters including crash litigation, aviation insurance coverage issues, airport use, Federal Aviation Regulation compliance, FAA grants, international aviation conventions, NTSB investigations and aircraft crash investigations. As a pilot with experience flying both fixed-wing planes and helicopters, Ladd understands the technical aspects of aviation crashes and applies that knowledge to all his clients' matters. This deep technical and legal knowledge arises from his personal love for and experience with flight. He's fortunate to combine his personal passion for aviation with his legal work on a day-to-day basis.

Tell us how you developed your passion for flying.

I grew up flying with my dad out of the Saratoga airport. We had landing strips on a couple of ranches and by using the plane, we could check the irrigation on all the ranches and search for cattle in the rugged forest grazing areas in just a few hours. Additionally, we had family in Colorado and with the plane we could make the trip in 45 minutes instead of over four hours by car. I realized aviation provided freedom and made the world smaller.
