Scott Kolpitcke

Basic Bio:

I graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1996. I met my wife Linda in law school. I worked in Laramie for two years before moving to Powell in 1998 and started working for Copenhaver, Kath &Kitchen. I became a partner in 2002. We have two children (twins), Ryan and Kayla, who are 22 years old. I have a general practice that includes representing school districts, municipalities, local government agencies and individual clients.

What has been the most rewarding part of your legal career so far?

It is rewarding whenever I help a client, and they are happy with the work we did, whether it is a good outcome in contested matter, advice that helps them solve a problem, or a well written estate plan. I have been very fortunate to have developed many relationships with clients over the years, and to see those relationships extend through multiple generations. It has also been fulfilling to have had great business partners and great people working in our firm who have been critical to our success.
