It looks like Coloradans might now have a reason to embrace Texas. The Beaumont Foundation of America, headquartered in Jefferson County, Texas, announced on Jan. 16 it is granting $1056 million worth of computers to Colorado schools, community organizations and individuals over the next year. The foundation's purpose is to grant state-of-the-art, Internet-enabled wireless computer hardware to Americans who do not have access to it, and to help provide technical support to utilize it. Grants are available across America for the next four years.
