In 1980, CLF was a small organization. We had a few impressive victories, but we had little national recognition, a small staff and a solidifying, but still uncertain future. And then came Frank Sargent. According to Doug Foy, president of CLF from 1977-2002 and current board member, Sargent was a staunch supporter of environmental issues and of CLF.
