Fort Wainwright adds new innovative windows.

Workers have installed new energy-conserving windows at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks. The project encompassed windows at 284 Barracks, a three-story building. Bucher Glass of Fairbanks handled the project, which required installing up to 150 windows for a total of 3,350 square feet of heat mirror glass. Heat mirror windows are 11/2 inches wide and contain Argon gas, an inert heat-blocking gas that fills the two air spaces inside the insulating glass...
