Former PCPS Executive Committee Chair David Morgan has been named to the new "blue ribbon panel" that will address how U.S. accounting standards can best meet the needs of private company financial statement users. Morgan was chair of the AICPA Reliability Task Force, which made recommendations on potential changes to the accounting and review standards that would enhance financial statement reliability.

The new blue ribbon panel was created by the AICPA, the Financial Accounting Foundation, which oversees the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
