FOREWORD

The Section of Antitrust Law of the American Bar

Association is pleased to present Sports and Antitrust Law, a

practical guide to the substantive and procedural issues that

frequently arise in the sports and antitrust context. The goal of this

handbook is to make this developing area of the law more

accessible to antitrust and non-antitrust practitioners alike.

We are deeply indebted to many attorneys who contributed

their time and talents to the creation of this practice guide. Special

thanks goes to James Keyte, who is responsible for editing this

volume and coordinating the drafting of its many contributors.
