A Primer on the Law of Joint Purchasing

Foreword

The Section of Antitrust Law is very pleased to

publish this Primer on the Law of Joint Pur-

chasing. We hope that the primer will be a val-

ued resource in assisting business lawyers and

business managers in identifying antitrust is-

sues that may be associated with joint purchas-

ing arrangements. The Section expresses its

thanks to Paul B. Hewitt, who served as pri-

mary author and Project Co-chair, as well as

Aryeh S. Friedman, Project Co-chair and Co-

chair of the Section 2 Committee, for their lead-

ership on this project. Thanks also to Ian S.
