FOREWORD
The Antitrust Law Section is pleased to publish International
Investigations and Merger Reviews: A Handbook for Antitrust Counsel,
which we hope will be a valuable resource for U.S. and international
antitrust practitioners to help them better understand the processes by
which enforcement agencies conduct cross-border investigations. We
extend our deep appreciation to the authors who generously contributed
their time, resources, and knowledge to individual chapters. The Section
is especially grateful to Thomas J. Collin, who chaired this project to
completion and also serves currently as a Co-Chair of the Section’s
International Committee, together with International Committee Co-
Chair Julie Soloway.
