A conversation with Chef Jimmy Lambatos reveals a passion and enthusiasm for the catering business that is palpable. It is this enthusiasm that has helped establish Footers Catering as one of the premiere caterers in the Denver market for nearly 25 years. "I've worked in the food industry my whole life. My love for the catering business has always been there. The creativity challenges me and keeps it exciting," said Lambatos.

With attention paid to providing the freshest foods, festive atmospheres and fabulous personal service, Lambatos and his staff seek to meet the needs of their clients whether it be for an intimate dinner party, a corporate luncheon or a charitable event for hundreds.

"Our goal has always been to have every customer a repeat customer. It's a matter of providing them with the freshest, most flavorful food we possibly can and providing them with a fabulous event experience," said Lambatos.

Footers event planners can assist with every detail including china, linens, floral arrangements, lighting and equipment, transportation and valet service in order to make the event a success. "It's not just about the food, it's about the whole look, the whole style of the event," said Lambatos.

The staff assists clients in being creative to reflect exactly what it is they are trying to achieve with a certain event. "We try to blend and match the style or personality of the client," said Lambatos. That may include a clam bake theme to help market a home builder's Nantucket style house or the black and white cookies honoring Clint Black, the entertainer at this year's Buckaroo Ball to benefit Children's Hospital.

Lambatos has found that people are looking for a new approach to the standard meat and potatoes. "The flavor profiles in the food are obviously where people are going. They want something new, a new twist on the classics," he said.
