Great Harvest Bread Company coordinates with Food Bank of Alaska to help gather turkeys: For almost a week before Thanksgiving, November 18-23, Great Harvest Bread Company will accept a turkey in exchange for a loaf or white or wheat bread. The turkeys are then donated to the Food Bank of Alaska.
