Fishing tournament to raise funds for clean up initiatives.

TheGreer Centennial Lions Clubwill host a bass fishing tournament at Lake Robinson on April 9 to raise money forGreenville County Litter Ends HereandKeep One Spartanburg Beautifulfollowing a two-year pause.

The all-day event, which is open to the public and sponsored byGreer CPW, will give the fishing community a chance to win $1,000 for the largest fish, as well as other cash prizes.

Gates will open at 5:45 a.m., followed by the start of the competition at 7:05 a.m. and a weigh-in at 3 p.m.

"We are eager to host this tournament again and know anglers are just as excited," Alison Rauch, Greer Centennial Lions Club's event liaison, said in the release.
