Fiserv develops marketing module to promote bill pay system.

A marketing tool called Adoption Marketing Program has been introduced by Fiserv, Brookfield, Wisc., to enable financial institutions to promote Fiserv's Paytraxx electronic bill payment solution to their customers.

When the PIMA Federal Credit Union (assets: $244 million), Tuscon, Ariz., used the product, it experienced a 1,200 percent increase in bill pay use within four months, according to Fiserv. (The credit union used multiple elements of the solution, including the online tutorial)

The product includes an online tutorial directed to consumer audiences. The tutorial walks customers through the bill pay service, promoting the general benefits of electronic bill payment, while explaining how to use the Paytraxx system.
