Policy Statement

The Board of Fire Commissioners of the _____________ Fire District believes it is essential to carry out the function of emergency services within the _____________ Fire District. Certain individuals have and maintain for their use cellular communication. It is for this reason that the Board of Fire Commissioners believes it is inherent in their responsibility to provide emergency services pursuant to §176 of the Town Law, that the District pays and provides for cellular uses for these individuals.

Cellular communication benefits the Fire District in two ways:

1. They provides ability for immediate contact from outside callers to the users of the phone, and

2. They provide communication between various users of the phone.

District Treasurer

It is the responsibility of the _____________ Fire District Treasury, on a monthly basis, to provide each user with a copy of the monthly bill assigned to their specific cellular number. The Treasurers will randomly audit any submissions made...
