FinancialCAD has released Version 6 of its leading financial instrument modeling application, Fincad XL, and its popular development kit for financial systems developers, Fincad Developer. The company calls this release "the most significant upgrade ever" for these products.

FinancialCAD says it has added over 180 leading-edge financial models, bringing the total number of functions to over 700 in each product. In addition to adding support for credit derivatives, the software offers expanded coverage of convertible bonds, foreign exchange options and interest rate derivatives, new support for municipal bonds and expanded coverage of exotic option models.

Fincad XL makes working with spreadsheets and using market data faster and easier by accessing the optional services of Fincad.net, FinancialCAD's Internet Service offering based on the Microsoft[R].NET framework.
