LucasArts, San Rafael, Calif., heard the plea and responded with the video game, Star Wars Battlefront. First off, the improved graphics and animation are a marvel. Settings are more realistic, with characters' capes and hair actually flapping in the breeze.

A big plus is the global positioning-type map of the entire area you're in, not just the compass pointer. Action doesn't fall into repetitive loops, but randomizing modes keep you on your toes. Moreover, it's good to go in one- or two-player modes.
