FEI introduces new membership category: 'Associate'.

In August, the Board of Directors of Financial Executives International (FEI) approved the addition of a new class to its membership structure through the addition of the "Associate" member category. This new category, which will take effect immediately, was established to enable talented, motivated financial professionals to have ongoing opportunities for personal and professional growth as their careers advance.

The result of this addition will be a larger, more influential association in the finance and accounting community.

"The Associate membership category was created to provide support to the future leaders within the financial profession," said Marie Hollein, CEO and president of Financial Executives International.

"These are members of our community who have a clearly-defined career path and have already made substantial progress in the field. ... membership in FEI allows them exposure to senior executives as well as networking and educational opportunities to guide their path."
