FEI honors three at 6th hall of fame.

In conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the founding of Financial Executives International, the sixth annual Hall of Fame black-tie gala was held on Nov. 14 at Gotham Hall in New York City.

The former Greenwich Savings Bank provided a fitting venue for the event, whose purpose is to celebrate exemplary financial executives, particularly since several of the founding members of FEI 80 years ago were bankers.

Master of Ceremonies--for the second year--was Tyler Mathisen, CNBC's Power Lunch co-anchor.

This year, three extraordinary financial executives were inducted into the Hall of Fame, bringing the total of inductees to 16.

This year's three inductees are: Robert C. Butler, former senior vice president and chief financial officer of Celgene Inc., who was introduced by P. Norman Roy, former president and CEO, FEI; Judy C. Lewent, former executive vice president and CFO, Merck & Co. inc., who was introduced by Kenneth C. Frazier, president and CEO, Merck & Co. Inc.; and David B. Rickard, retired executive vice president, CFO and chief administrative officer, CVS Caremark Corp., who was introduced by Jim Kilts, former chairman and CEO, The Gillette...
