FEI hits congress on key tax issues.

Representatives from Financial Executives International met with senior congressional staff members last month as part of FEI's continuous effort to support the interests of members on Capitol Hill.

Tax reform will be a major issue in the next legislative session, according to members of Congress, regardless of the presidential election results.

During this two-day trip to the Hill, FEI's Christine DiFabio, Matt Miller, Serena Davila and Cady North focused on numerous issues including: the alternative minimum tax; IC-DISC; and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed roadmap to move from U.S. generally accepted accounting principles to International Financial Reporting Standards.
