Members from Financial Executive International's (FEI) new coalition, Private Companies for Tax Fairness (PCTF), convened in Washington, D.C., on April 8 and 9 to discuss the importance of comprehensive tax reform and the need to protect privately held and family-owned businesses.

Six FEI members, as well as FEI staff, met with the staffs of Reps. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.) and Allyson Swartz (D-Pa.), co-chairs of the pass-through subcommittee, which is one of 11 ad-hoc subcommittees that were designed by the House Ways and Means Committee to study all aspects of tax reform.
