In a landmark event, FEI-U.S. and FEI-Australia have leaped over boundaries to form a partnership that brings the two organizations closer together. The two signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in New York City in December that began Jan. 1, 2004

On hand for the signing were was Dieter Adamsas, president of FEI Australia and deputy chief executive officer & CEO of Leighton Holdings, Ltd., of New South Wales, and David Morris, past chairman of IAFEI and senior vice president of JP Morgan Chase Bank. Representing FEI-U.S. was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Technical Committees Grace Hinchman.
