In "The Hazards of Muslim-Bashing" (Comment, September issue), Amitabh Pal writes: "Incredibly, the FBI had two of Spencer's [Islam-bashing] books ... as recommended reading for its new recruits." I'm not sure that "incredibly" fits in this sentence. Have we forgotten what a completely corrupt individual J. Edgar Hoover was? And do we not take note of the fact that the FBI headquarters is named for Hoover? Nothing should...
