It is no secret that men and women are very different, but this rings especially true when it comes to their health. For instance, men are more likely to get sick than women and have a shorter life expectancy. Men also are less likely than women to get routine check-ups and necessary medical care.

Vault Health, a men's telehealth startup, surveyed 1,500 men ages 35-60 in the U.S. Some interesting national trends and insights were uncovered, including:

* 73% of men think that they have too much belly fat or a gut.

* 48% say that they are not satisfied with their physical appearance.

* 57% describe their current lean muscle mass as less than it was five years ago.
