How aware are you of what your body is doing while on the track?

Sometimes I try to watch myself and my stride. A good stride is a beautiful thing. And it's a great feeling when you can run that fast and be comfortable.

Any crazy race preparations?

Well, I listen to music, a CD by Everclear. There is a song on there that I always listen to. It's called "0ne-Hit Wonder." It's been my psych-up song. It's kind of cheesy--at the end they say, "They cannot hurt you unless you let them," which was perfect...
