STEVE FARBER, probably Denver's most politically active attorney, was named 2004 recipient of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce's Dell Hock Lifetime Achievement award, and he accepted with characteristic self-deprecating modesty. Farber said the real reason he is able to do the things he does is largely because of others, like his partner, Norm Brownstein. Brownstein was No. 5 on the ColoradoBiz list of the state's 25 most powerful people, but Farber was mentioned in the write-up in January. There is no one else in the Colorado business community more deserving of this year's award.
