FAF post-implementation review of accounting standards.

The Financial Accounting Foundation announced in November that it is establishing a post-implementation review process for standards issued by FASB and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. The post-implementation review team will use surveying and interviewing tools to gather feedback on standards under review from individuals who have:

* Applied the standard:

* Used the information resulting from the standard; or

* Opined on financial statements prepared using the FASB or GASB standards.

The team will be conducting its first survey and interviews through May and plans to conduct three or four post-implementation reviews of FASB or GASB standards each year. As part of that review process, the FAF is...
