Many first-time parents--especially mothers--increase the amount of time they spend on Facebook after the birth of their child, according to a study published in Family Relations.

Results show that 44% of mothers say their Facebook use increased after giving birth, compared to 27% who state it decreased and 29% who believe it stayed the same. For fathers, 30% saw an increase, while 19% decreased and 51% stayed the same.
