OGDEN-BASED PARKER CONTROL SYSTEMS was among suppliers named in threatened civil penalties against Boeing by the Federal Aviation Administration recently. Specifically, the agency is examining apparent oversight by the aviation giant of its commercial airplane parts suppliers, of which the Utah-based company is one.

In addition to the Ogden company, other suppliers cited by the FAA included Northrop Grumman, Aerospace Technologies of Australia and Kayaba Industries of Japan. The Seattle Times reports alleged violations by suppliers to include "lack of documentation for parts, processes and worker qualifications, and failure to conduct audits internally and of subsuppliers."
