In a statement expressing sympathy and support to those affected by the terrorist attacks last month, and commending rescuers and volunteers working in the aftermath, the AICPA announced it is establishing the CPAs in Support of America Fund, Inc. The fund will help people (including CPA firms and those working for firms) directly affected by the events of Sept. 11.

The Institute also reminds members that the AICPA Benevolent Fund is there to help them and their families when they face financial difficulty caused by serious illness, accident, death or other major misfortunes.
