Corporate executives are increasingly willing to make career moves that don't necessarily mean they'll be in line for significant salary and bonus increases, a new survey of senior-level job seekers has determined.

The 2011 Mid-Year Outlook report by BlueSteps.com, an online career management service for global senior executives, revealed that more than four in five senior executives surveyed (82 percent) said they are planning to seek new opportunities and have no concerns about making a career move. In fact, the survey found that about half (52 percent) expected their compensation to remain about the same in the event of a move.

The results may indicate earlier fears of changing jobs during the oppressive recession are receding. Consistent with previous surveys, senior executives said they would be most enticed by the offer of a better role with increased responsibility. Fewer than half said they would feel hindered by a decline in compensation (34 percent) or market instability (32 percent).
