The celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the IFA Foundation marks an important inflection point as we look toward the future of franchising. While the story of the next 35 years will not play out exactly like the past 35 years, we need your help to move the narrative forward about how franchising changes lives in so many positive ways. The Foundation's Board of Trustees has launched our Excellence in Franchising campaign to raise more than $10 million to deliver programs that inspire and educate franchise professionals while impacting people's lives inside and outside the franchise community.
WHAT WE DO
Today, the Foundation's role is clear and essential, providing best practices and serving as a critical access point to new employees and prospective franchisees. The Foundation works with IFA to enhance the perception of franchising as a responsible business practice that provides an opportunity to participate in mainstream businesses.
The Excellence in Franchising Campaign comes at a crucial juncture and offers a unique opportunity to take the work of the IFA Foundation to the next level. Each of the Foundation's programs is poised for transformative growth. The Foundation is setting a target of raising $10 million to shape the future of franchising. The campaign has four main pillars:
* Training and Education: One of the most critical investments in the Foundation campaign involves expanding the CFE professional career development program. This includes more online courses, learning tools and capabilities, as well as new content. Your donation will make possible the implementation of a state-of-the-art online learning community, providing greater ease of access to critical CFE content, and the development of new courses.
* Research: This part of the campaign seeks to raise funding for industry research and development to support IFA's advocacy efforts. The Foundation's research shows how franchising creates more jobs and sustainable new businesses at a faster pace than the overall economy. Your donation will make possible new partnerships with universities and research institutes to produce more diverse content, including best practice reports and white papers.
* Growth Fund: The Growth Fund will expand the work of current Foundation programs, including Franchising Gives Back, NextGen in Franchising, VetFran, Diversity Institute and student scholarships. Your donation will help the flagship programs reach their full potential....
