Evolution.

PositionOpposing views on teaching of evolution in science classes - Brief Article

Should it be taught in school?

NO

What is the status of evolution in the arena of science and education? It reigns supreme, maintaining an absolute control and censorship that determines what goes on in classrooms and what is published.

Let us be candid. Secular science has erected an imposing structure of scientific evidence that is [offered as proof] of evolution. Anybody whose view of the world is not firmly grounded by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can easily be overcome and enlisted among the followers of Charles Darwin, sometimes unknowingly. Nevertheless, the defenders of Darwin have failed to prove the scientific case for their theory.

The great problem for evolutionists is to prove, explain, and demonstrate the "design and creation" of complex biological structures by evolution. To do this they must

  1. discover historical (fossil) evidence that evolution actually did this in the past;

  2. construct an experimentally testable theory to explain how new structures evolve;

  3. [discover] the biological mechanisms used by evolution, and

  4. demonstrate evolution in the process of creating something new today.

None of these requirements for proof of evolution has been accomplished. Consequently, we are not being "unscientific" by believing in the God of Creation revealed to us in the Bible.
