Erin Ford appointed to District Export Council.

Erin Ford, executive vice president of SCBio, has been appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce to serve on the S.C. District Export Council.

Ford, among 1,500 other district export council members across the country, will coordinate with exporters and export service providers to help promote U.S. economic growth and trade, according to a news release. South Carolina's council makes up one of 61 district councils across the country. Appointed members serve for two years with a renewable appointment for the next two years.
