ABR Inc-Environmental Research & Services envisions the 2007 marker for studies in wildlife and fisheries; rehabilitation and ecological restoration; vegetation and wetland mapping, and environmental assessments to be strong in the areas of the oil and gas industry, mining, and transportation infrastructure improvements. Mining exploration for gold, copper and coal operations in Southcentral Alaska will continue to require baseline studies, wetland identification and permit-acquisition support.
