I'm writing to comment on several articles in the October issue. I especially enjoyed the Editor's Note, "What Is Reform?" which speaks to the changes needed in our society. Also, the Comment "Save the Public Sphere!" points out that "the right wing, ALEC, the Chamber of Commerce, the Wall Street Journal and Fox News keep pushing the lie that the public sector has failed and a deregulated, private market does everything better." I think most of us know where that has gotten us.
