A sustainable artisanal tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, Mijenta, offers a unique super premium proposition. Using the purest form of the agave plant, grown at higher elevation to produce more residual sugars and grown in deep red clay soil to enhance the fruit and floral tones, the agave is then slowly cooked to obtain Mijenta's distinct vanilla and caramel flavors. The result is complex and silky with a long finish. Tequila Blanco is aromatic, elegant, and complex, with unfolding notes of cantaloupe, honey, and cinnamon, and a generous finish. Mijenta Tequila Reposado is aged up to six months in a blend of American white oak and European acacia casks, presenting a more mature and fuller expression with a long finish on the palate.
