The answer to your question is that the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) hosts an update session each year just for that purpose.
The ASMC invites key people from the defense financial management community--and other organizations such as the Business Transformation Agency--to attend a two-day session designed to address the latest developments. The session this past year brought together approximately 30 instructors for a meeting in Rosslyn, Virginia.
After a warm welcome by Claudia Carr, ASMC Associate Director for Certification and CDFM-A, group members met with Keith Dunn, ASMC General Counsel. He was followed by Christopher Johns from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), who shared the OMB perspective on the defense budget.
