YEARS TO 2022

Proved crude oil reserves: total world and middle east—This shows the reported end‐year proved crude oil

reserves for the whole world and the Middle East region, corresponding to the information in table 1.

Proved crude oil reserves: other regions—This showsthe repor ted end‐year provedcrude oil reserves by region

in all regions apart from the Middle East, corresponding to the information in table 1.

Proved natural gas reserves:by region—This shows the reported end‐year proved natural gas reserves by region

for all regions, corresponding to the information in table 2.

Crude oil and natural gas liquids production: by region—This shows combined production rates of crude oil

and natural gas liquids by regions for all regions, corresponding to the information in table 3.

Natural gas production: by region—This shows the volume of gas production by region for all regions, corre-

sponding to the information in table 5.

Coal and lignite production: by region—This shows the combined quantity of coal and lignite production by

region for all regions, corresponding to table 6.

Primary energy production: by region—This shows the amount of total primary energy production from all

sources by region for all regions, corresponding to the information in table 8.

Oil demand: by region—The shows the total combined rate of all petroleum products demand by region for all

regions, corresponding to the information in table 14.
