Employment: survey finds unease with career choices.

Nothing like career angst: More than half (51 percent) of more than 1,700 global executives surveyed would likely choose a different field if they could start their career over again, according to the latest Executive Quiz from executive search firm Korn/Ferry International.

When posed the question, the most popular responses from executives were "highly likely" (21 percent) and "likely" (30 percent). Other responses included "maybe" (24 percent), "unlikely" (17 percent) and "highly unlikely" (8 percent). Further, when asked if they anticipate making a major career change before retirement, more than three in five respondents (62 percent) consider this "highly likely," with another 26 percent indicating it is "likely."

Despite these findings, two-thirds of respondents (67 percent) said they have "absolutely" or "somewhat" reached the level of success they would have anticipated when they began their professional careers.
