Signing bonuses and company cars may have won over last year's job seekers, but today's applicants are more interested in a firm's staying power. In a survey developed by Robert Half International Inc., a Menlo Park, Calif.-based staffing service specializing in the accounting, financing, and information technology fields, 28% of chief financial officers polled stated that a prospective employer's stability is the most-important consideration for candidates evaluating employment offers. Salary ranked second, with 23%.
