In research from global staffing firm Robert Half, Menlo Park, Calif., 72% of senior managers say college basketball tournament activities have a positive impact on staff morale. Some 52% of survey respondents also see productivity benefits.
Seventy-five percent of companies organize sports-related festivities. Friendly competitions (45%) and wearing team apparel (43%) top the list of activities offered.
