I'm honored to be the next Editor of the Defense Counsel Journal. Many thanks to my predecessor, Christopher Parkerson, for all of his work for the past two years.

Since its inception in 1934, the IADC Journal has been a forum for both topical and scholarly writings on the law, its development and reform, and on the practice of law. A lot has changed in the 88 years since the Journal's inception. What has not changed is our intent to publish articles that inform, educate and assist our members and their clients.
